MFA faculty members Jill McCorkle and Wilton Barnhardt, along with MFA grads Tracy Fellers and Amy Knox-Brown, will read their flash fiction that appeared in Long Story Short: Flash Fiction by 65 of North Carolina's Finest Writers. Sponsored by the English Department's Creative Writing MFA program.

The English Department invites you to participate in the life of the department or join with other alumni to form clubs. The following is a list of ideas, but we’re open to your ideas as well.
Eventually we hope to have a contact person (faculty or alumni) for each . . .but for now, contact the Department Alumni Liaison, Susan Katz, if no specific name is given.
- Talk to an undergraduate or graduate class
- Host an intern
- Participate in events such as alumni panels or career fairs
- Work with a department club
- Join an English Department alumni listserv
- Contribute to a department scholarship or program
- Feature in a video profile for the Department website (David Covington)
