Interests

Major research interests:  Irish literature and culture.  Most recent research and publications focus on (1) twentieth-century Irish drama; (2) the iconography of harps and women in Irish literature and culture; (3) Lady Morgan, Sydney Owenson's writings.  Past President of the American Conference for Irish Studies.
