Biography
Sarah has been teaching in the Professional Writing Program in the English Department since 1999. She designed and delivered the first version of ENG 331 online. She teaches online, hybrid, and face-to-face classes. She was selected as the CHASS Outstanding Lecturer in 2005.
Sarah's graduate work is in Technical Communication and she has a background in English with a British Literature concentration.
She has 7 years of experience in Residence Life and Student Affairs. She worked at James Madison University, University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and NC State University. In addition, she has worked at SAS and has also done presentations and writing for other organizations and businesses.

Assistant Director of the Professional Writing Program: Train new Professional Writing TAs
Member of Graduate School's iCATT (Interdisciplinary Consortium for the Advancement of TA Training)
team: plan and deliver training programs, assist with university-wide orientation and training for TAs, developed and manage specialized concentration for Professional Writing Program TAs in the CoAT (Certificate of Accomplishment in Teaching) program.
