Rhetoric and Composition Faculty

Graduate students rate our dedicated and nationally recognized faculty as the concentration's greatest asset. They are knowledgeable, diverse, and above all, helpful. Their interest in student development is primary.

English faculty in this concentration bring a wide range of research interests and expertise to their teaching, including specializations in composition pedagogy, English language and linguistics, writing across the curriculum, scientific and technical communication, computers and composition, the history of rhetoric, and rhetorical criticism.

Students in Rhetoric and Composition also have the opportunity to study and work with faculty in other departments.
