For Faculty

"Through my internship with Futures for Kids, I was recommended for a position with F4K’s affiliate, Career Cruising, as a freelance interviewer and editor. This will be an ongoing client that should give me lots of work in the future, and I never would have made this connection without you and your class. I hope all your current and future students know how important their internships are, and I hope they appreciate just how much you can help them now and throughout their careers. I know I do! Thanks again-for everything! -- Jennifer L. Potts '09, Professional Writing Services

Interns' Scholarship

Help a student with financial constraints gain valuable work experience by supporting the English Department Interns' Scholarship. Each year, many students are unable to participate in an internship because they cannot affort to work without pay. The Interns' Scholarship provides $750 per semester to qualified students. Give a gift to the fund, or make a pledge, by cash, check or credit card.

Your financial support of the scholarship fund helps the community as well as students, with scholarship recipients working for free at not-for-profit organizations. We appreciate and recognize our donors' support.
