Gifts to our funds can be made via our secure online gift portal. These funds support scholarships, professional development, travel to conferences, study abroad opportunities and visits from scholars and lecturers.

Priority Areas of Support

  • English Enhancement Fund: Provides much-needed unrestricted dollars for our students, faculty and programs. Gifts to the English Enhancement Fund help us make the most of unexpected opportunities and finance activities not supported by state-appropriated funding.
  • English Advising Fund: Provides support to the department’s advising program.
  • M.A. in English Discretionary Fund: Provides unrestricted support to the M.A. program.
  • English Department Intern Scholarship: Provides scholarship for undergraduate students completing an unpaid internship at a not-for-profit organization.

Faculty and Staff Payroll Deductions

NC State faculty and staff can make a monthly contribution to the area of their choice via payroll deduction.
