Carolyn Miller gives presentations in Brazil

On October 6, Carolyn Miller gave an invited lecture — “Genre as Social Action (1984), Revisited (2014, 30 Years Later)” — at Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro, Uberaba, Brazil.

She gave the same talk as the keynote presentation for the IV Simpósio Internacional de Ensino de Lingua Portuguesa, held in Uberlândia, Brazil, on October 8.

On October 13, she presented “Memoir, Blog, and Selfie: Genre as Social Action in Autobiographical Representations” as an invited lecture for the Programação de Pós-Graduação em Letras, Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Brazil.
