Dufresne Presented at 2019 National Council of Teachers of English

Our MA literature concentration student, Kelsey Virginia Downs Dufresne, just presented her paper, “21st Century Teaching: Bringing a Publishing Curriculum to Your Classroom” at the 2019 National Council of Teachers of English in Baltimore, Maryland!

Her presentation explored how teachers can bring a curriculum we developed to help empower youth voices, especially those voices that are often under-represented and underserved, through the model of write, engage, and lead, and the ultimate process of publishing their writing.
