Horne, Meshaw, and Morgan Presented at 2019 Anguish Conference

Our MA literature concentration students, Austin Horne and Clark Meshaw, and MA linguistics concentration student, Marissa Morgan, presented their research at the 2019 Anguish conference in Washington, D.C. last month. 

 

The following topics were presented:

Austin Horne – “Either/Or: The Roles of Addiction, Higher Powers, Anhedonia and Solipsism in David Foster Wallace’s Infinite Jest” 

Clark Meshaw – “After the Boys of Summer are Gone: The Dynamic between Sexual Assault and Heteronormative Time in Scott Heim’s Mysterious Skin” 

Marissa Morgan – “Azealia Banks vs Cardi B: The Great Debate, Evolved”
