Leila May gives presentations

Leila May presented ““Who’s to be master?”: Lewis Carroll and J. L. Austin” as part of a panel on Nineteenth-Century British Literature and Culture at the Pacific Modern Language Association (PAMLA) in Riverside, CA, on October 31.

On October 25, she gave a talk on “The Mystery of History: Secrecy in Bulwer-Lytton’s Historical Novel Leila” at the Victorians Institute Conference in Charlotte, NC.
