First-Year Writing Program Student Resources

The Academic Success Center offers Writing Support and other academic support for students, both Undergraduate and Graduate. Students can schedule in-person or online appointments with trained peer consultants to receive help on papers, thesis, dissertations, etc.


NC State Libraries offer multiple services, helpful articles, writing guides
and project tools to assist with the writing and research process. 


Academic & Student Life Resources


The English as a Second Language (ESL) Program offers Non-native speakers of English alternate courses to fulfill their first-year writing requirement. Students can elect to take FLE 100 and FLE 101 instead of
ENG 100 and ENG 101.
