Chris Anson publishes book, gives talks

Chris Anson’s new book Understanding and Creating Digital Texts: An Activity-Based Approach (written with Richard Beach, Lee-Ann Kastman Breuch, and Tom Reynolds) has just been released from Rowan and Littlefield.

Anson and his son Ian, who is finishing his dissertation in political science at Indiana University and replicating Chris’s research on response to student writing, also spoke on a panel together for the first time at the 11th Annual ISSOTL conference in Quebec City, Canada, on October 23.

He also spoke at Rice University on October 31 and gave a paper at the 2014 International Writing Studies Colloquium in Malmö, Sweden, on November 6. On November 15, he was an invited featured speaker at the  2014 Symposium on Second-Language Writing in Tempe, AZ.
