Graduate Student Notes for April 2019

Threa Almontaser has a poem in The Adroit Journal, and her work appears in the 2018 Best of the Net anthology. Her work will be included in the Tales From Many Muslim Worlds anthology (Penguin Press) and the next Nimrod International Journal of Poetry and Prose (Voices of the Middle East and North Africa edition). Finally, she is the winner of the 2019 Claire Keyes Poetry Prize judged by Sean Thomas Dougherty.  

Two graduate students received Excellence in Graduate Teaching Awards for 2018 (for classroom) teaching:
