Remember the Humanity of Immigrants, This Poet Urges
NC State poet and English professor Eduardo Corral is the son of migrants who crossed into Nogales, Arizona, in the 1970s. Corral says his “gaze, heart and soul” are always attuned to border issues. The PBS News Hour spoke with Corral, who hopes his work "makes the internal lives of immigrants visible, something [that's] forgotten or intentionally omitted in the national conversation."
